Nexus 5 is a smartphone developed by Google and LG Electronics that run the Android operating system. The successor of the Nexus 4, the fifth in a series of smartphones Nexus, the family of Android consumer devices marketed by Google and built by the original equipment manufacturer partners. Nexus 5 was inaugurated on October 31, 2013, and released in black and white on the same day to purchase online on Google Play, in selected countries.
Hardware Nexus 5 is similar to the LG G2, with 800 Snapdragon system-on–chip (SoC), and 4.95 inch 1080p screen. The Nexus 5 is also the first device to feature the 4.4 version of Android.
